What makes PCE different

Most leadership development providers begin with a program.

PCE begins with assessment.

Before any leadership program is designed, every participant goes through two layers of assessment — Change Readiness Skills (CRS) and Leadership Skills. We then compare both sets of results — identifying where change readiness is enabling leadership growth, and where it is blocking it.

The CRS Skill Building Program

Here is where PCE's approach truly differs.

Most organisations move straight from assessment to leadership training. PCE does not.

If a leader's change readiness is low in a critical area, developing leadership skills on top of that foundation will produce limited, short-lived results. The leader may know what to do — but under pressure, the old pattern reasserts itself.

PCE addresses this with a dedicated Change Readiness Skill Building Program — typically a focused 6-week intervention designed to build one crucial CRS skill that is blocking several leadership competencies at once.

For example:

  • Low emotional steadiness under pressure will undermine composure, participative management, and the ability to lead through change — no matter how well-trained the leader is.
  • Low openness to feedback will block self-awareness, career management, and the ability to learn from experience.

By building the right CRS skill first, PCE creates the inner foundation that makes leadership development truly stick.
