Roger Wei

Roger Wei is a serial entrepreneur, experienced corporate executive, board advisor, and executive coach. He is Co-Founder of Weis & Beyond International, a Hong Kong-based advisory firm serving high-net-worth families and institutions across Asia in global asset allocation, risk management, cross-border investment, immigration planning, and education planning, with operations that have grown from Hong Kong to Shanghai, New York, London, and Dublin. He is also Board Director and Chief Strategy Officer of N+ Education, a Shanghai-based consulting firm that guides students from pre-college through graduation and beyond.

As an executive coach, Roger works with entrepreneurs, directors, and senior leaders, including those at global Fortune 500 corporations, on leadership effectiveness, strategic clarity, and navigating complexity. He is an ICF Professional Certified Coach (PCC), and earlier in his career held senior operating and partner roles in business strategy for Western companies in China and Asia. He studied at Harvard Business School (Entrepreneurship, 2021) and earned his Executive MBA in International Business at Rutgers (2004 to 2006), where he became Julia Feng's classmate in the Shanghai cohort.

Roger is also active in the nonprofit world, as a board member of the Dragon Tails Foundation, a strategic advisor to an international emergency rescue organization working under the framework of the UN Sustainable Development Goals, and a founder and co-chair of the Beijing and Shanghai alumni chapters of Case Western Reserve University.

He explained why he deliberately changes industries about every five years, why he finds that any career-level change takes about three months to settle into, and why he believes the fundamentals of leadership stay the same while only the context changes.
